Dear Dr. DeLuca,
I just wanted to take a minute to express my deepest gratitude for the work you do. I know I can speak for all of your patients when I tell you that you are not just a plastic surgeon restoring physical attributes, but a surgeon restoring one’s inner confidence which allows them to emerge into the world without fear and humility. You are restoring a vital piece of your patients’ lives every single day, their soul. We must love who we are to be what we want to be. Your professionalism and character allow those with any hesitation to feel comfortable and safe. You are the catalyst to many people’s transformations physically, psychologically, and emotionally.

As a surgical scrub, I have had the privilege of working side by side with Dr. DeLuca for the past nine years and have seen first hand the kind of Doctor and person that he is. Progressive, not aggressive
Historically, when someone finds an amazing Plastic Surgeon they tend to keep him/her to themselves. That is not the case with me. I searched for a very long time, both in and out of the Capital District to find a physician who was compassionate, honest, progressive, not aggressive and someone who had amazing surgical techniques and an artful eye for creating the appearance of natural beauty.
I have been a patient of Dr. DeLuca’s for many years and I have continued to be pleased with everything he has helped me with. Over the years I have made many referrals to Dr. DeLuca. Each and everyone one of those referrals felt that Dr. DeLuca far exceeded their expectations. I don’t think it gets much better than that!!

This is a long over-due “Thank you” letter! I had tortured myself for years with the idea of exploring plastic surgery to correct a physical characteristic that bothered me on a daily basis. I was so self conscious that I didnt even want to admit I was self conscious! All it took was one call to your office and speaking with Gloria, who is AMAZING, and I stopped by for a free consultation. Not only did I feel comfortable speaking with you, I felt completely confident in your abilities to help me. You showed me a whole book of before-and-after photos and you also made me feel like there were no wrong questions to ask. You were straight forward and honest about your expectations for my surgery, and I have to say it has been 6 months already and I have never been more confident or gotten more compliments. Dr. DeLuca gave me my life back and now I am more confident than I have ever been.

On my last consultation he gave me a packet on what to expect and do before and after surgery after explaining in detail what he was going to do explained all the different types of implants and what would suit my body better and that I should call if I thought of anything else and call I did, especially after surgery. It did not matter what time or that it was a weekend – he was there to answer my questions, reassure me and talk me through the tough times with no trace of impatience. Just knowing he was a telephone call away put me at ease and the recovery that much easier. Now I look in the mirror every morning and go wow! That’s me! I originally went to Dr. William DeLuca at a referral from a girlfriend after another Albany plastic surgeon did an unsatisfactory job of altering my breasts (too large and uneven). I was pleased at Dr. DeLuca’s listening skills, honesty and patience with me that I chose to have the surgery again. This was almost seven years ago and the results were excellent. Since then I have returned to Dr. DeLuca for a couple of other “non-breast” procedures with incredible results. I would recommend Dr. DeLuca to other friends (which I have) without hesitation.

Dr. DeLuca accomplished in 2 hours what should have been done 4 years ago after a mastectomy. Over 6 surgeries with horrific outcomes, I finally went to Dr. DeLuca when several friends told me what a wonderful surgeon he was. He rebuilt my breast to look like my other breast. No more pain. No more hiding in large clothes. It looks beautiful. I feel like a new woman!! Great job Dr. DeLuca

To anyone who is contemplating getting a breast reduction , do not be scared. From start to finish there is nothing to worry about. From the moment I entered the office and was greeted by Dr. DeLuca’s secretary Gloria, I was totally at ease. Dr. DeLuca has such a great bedside manner and I felt comfortable talking to him. He gave me great advice on how much breast tissue I should have removed to fit my body proportions. It has been several years now and my only regret is not getting this surgery sooner. It has truly changed my life in many different ways. Dr. DeLuca is the best plastic surgeon in the area in my opinion. I have referred many of my friends and business associates to him and they all have been very happy with their results.

I have always had large breast; my gynecologist has hinted for several years to me regarding a breast reduction; until the suggestion I never gave it a thought. Over the last three years the thought of a breast reduction has always been in the back of my mind. When I look at myself in pictures/mirror I see large and hanging breasts with large indentations in my shoulders and back pain. A friend recently underwent a breast reduction and when I saw her was amazed at how great she looked.
I have never had surgery but knew I was unhappy with my size DD breasts; I decided to make an appointment with Dr. DeLuca just to discuss the process and procedure keeping in the back of my mind I’m just talking to the Doctor no decisions have to be made.
I was a little nervous on appointment day; will I be able to do this, have surgery? When I met Dr. DeLuca he made me very comfortable, he showed me pictures of other women’s breasts before and after their surgery – my breasts looked just as large and saggy as these women’s but the after pictures were amazing. Dr. DeLuca explained what the procedures would be; however, I was still nervous but decided to go for it.
On surgery day I was not nervous because I knew this is what I wanted. The surgery went great; I didn’t need the pain medication Tylenol worked for me. I had surgery on Tuesday and went back to work on the following Monday.
I feel great, no back pain and the indentations in my shoulders are starting to fade. I have never worn a shirt with buttons – they always gape in the front – now I own button up shirts. I enjoy shopping for clothes. I can buy pretty colored bras; I now own a sports bra – they never fit – always looked like I had one big boob. The most amazing thing is I don’t have to wear a bra if I don’t want to – they look great.
I would recommend anyone to Dr. DeLuca, he did a wonderful job, and made me feel comfortable, and I liked him immediately. Dr. DeLuca answered all my questions and I had a list – he sat down and answered each and every one – I am very happy with my new size and wish I had this done sooner. I feel great and look great thanks Dr. DeLuca.

I did not hesitate; I called Dr. DeLuca and made my appointment.

At this point I was not happy with my body and more thought had me ask myself why am I dealing with back pain, bra straps dig in into my shoulder, my clothing not fitting me correctly, and always being self conscious of my breast size.
I did not hesitate; I called Dr. DeLuca and made my appointment. Doctor explained everything about the surgery and confirmed that I was a candidate for breast reduction surgery.
After my surgery I noticed immediately relief of my back pain and my shoulders did not hurt me. I have more confidence in myself and feel 10 years younger now. Shopping is a pleasure – I can put on a blouse without worry if the blouse will pop open! I can wear anything now from a suit to a bathing suit & be comfortable about myself.
Dr. DeLuca did a wonderful job with my large and saggy breasts, now I have a perfect breast size and shape. I would recommend Dr. DeLuca to anyone who needs a surgery. Dr. DeLuca makes you feel very comfortable to talk to, and he answers all your questions, shows you picture so you are clear on how you may look. I just recommended Dr. DeLuca to one of my friends about two months ago and she had the surgery too… She looks and feels great! Thank You Dr. DeLuca.

After my surgery I noticed immediately relief of my back pain and my shoulders did not hurt me. I have more confidence in myself and feel 10 years younger now. I was educated and mentally ready for my challenge to have weight loss surgery, but I was not prepared for what it did to my body and my self-esteem once I got to my goal weight.

Very caring, compassionate physician
I have been a patient of Dr.DeLuca for over 10 years, in that time he has performed a face lift and other procedure’s that has made me feel wonderful about myself. He is a very caring,compassionate physician, who made me feel comfortable the moment I entered his office. Dr. DeLuca is a excellent plastic surgeon who I would recommend to anyone. I felt safe with his ability
Why I decided to have a full face lift,eye lids neck, cheeks: I was ageing and I didnt like the umbrella of ageing… you know, covering your face with make up, hats, hair in your face, oh and the magical face creams, of which none worked despite costing mega bucks! They don’t, wont and cant give you back your youthfulness and former looks. Our face is the first part of us that people notice and they quickly make an assessment on our age and appearance. The younger generations don’t realize that they will soon reach our age as well. I am sure I have done the same when I see older people. Thanks to my surgery, I now feel more confident in my facial looks…I notice on-lookers seeing me with a pleasantness and acceptance now… instead of “look at that old woman”. The discomfort of surgery was minimal and I healed quickly . Dr DeLuca is a pleasant gentleman & an articulate surgeon who knows his work well. He gives of himself to his patients. I am thankful I met him and thankful for the surgical services he gave me. I felt safe with his ability and I thank you very much Dr. DeLuca.

Cannot say enough about Dr. Deluca’s kind manner
My daughter, Liza had breast reduction surgery by Dr. DeLuca when she was 19 years old in 1996. She had very large breasts much out of proportion with the rest of her body. She was very impressed and so was I with Dr. DeLuca’s very kind bedside manner. She was so pleased with her “new” breasts that she wanted to show everyone, even her father (who declined of course).
Liza is no longer on this earth, she is in heaven after being murdered by her husband in 2004. However she was always proud of how she looked and how she felt after the surgery. I too had liposuction done by Dr. DeLuca in February 2004 and I too was very pleased with the results. He is a very kind and personable man and I cannot say enough about his kind manner. I also must commend his staff for their professionalism and kindness.

I am a 52 year old woman. As a dark skinned “Mediterranean” woman, I have been plagued with very dark circles under my eyes whether I am tired or not. As such, I have been applying concealer on my circles for the last 40 years. Not being the gentle-touch kind of person, I inadvertently created a lot of unsightly damage. In addition to this (and perhaps hereditary), my eyelids were drooping such that in the late afternoon, I had trouble seeing (anything but half of an eyelid). My friends recommended that I consider having a procedure known as a blepharoplasty and Dr. DeLuca was the most frequently recommended surgeon. After doing extensive research, I decided to proceed. Dr. DeLuca informed me that he could solve the issue with the incredibly excessive skin above and below my eyes, but he indicated that I would, by heritage, still have the dark circles. I truly appreciated his honesty, and proceeded anyway.
The surgery was a “piece of cake” just like the Dr. said it would be. I am a whimp, and did not believe him, but he was right!
So many of my friends that knew that I was having this done, raved about how good I looked. Being a skeptic, I reserved comment. Then when Dr. DeLuca showed me the before and after pictures, I was blown away!! Dear Dr. DeLuca, please post these pictures. I think that other women/men might benefit from this visual. I would be happy to speak to anyone via Dr. DeLuca if they are considering this surgery and have any questions. I am sorry that I waited so long!!
PS – My circles are actually less dark, so I guess I got lucky in that regard!

My procedure with Dr. DeLuca was eyelid surgery, both upper & lower lids. I had experienced thyroid cancer in 2006 and the entire ordeal took a toll on me both emotionally and (as I saw it) cosmetically – especially when I would see myself appearing very tired. And yes, age too was a factor in my needing this procedure. I had not one but two consultations with Dr. DeLuca and decided that he was the perfect person to help me. It has been a few years now since the procedure and I remain certain that he was the best plastic surgeon I could have had perform this procedure on myself. I would do it all over again. I searched for and found his new website and decided to share my story for anyone else who might currently feel as I once did. I was searching for his information to give to a friend of mine who constantly compliments me on my eyes and wants to have a procedure done by Dr. Deluca also.
Dr. DeLuca, I cannot thank you enough. You are a professional individual and I applaud you for that. The level of comfort and confidence you bestow on your patients is simply amazing – thank you for all that you have done for me.

I was extremely unhappy with the way my upper eyelids were starting to droop, and the puffiness and bags under my eyes made me look 10 years older. Nothing fixed the problem, no matter how many creams and potions I tried. I was very skeptical of plastic surgery at first, but my experience with Dr. Deluca and his highly competent staff was enough to set me at ease. Any question I had was answered promptly and professionally. I feel I received the total care that one comes to expect from the beginning to the end of my surgery.
